In a review, use SimpleText for the Mac to write it, and just type the following to get 'bold' and 'italic' style text... - turns on bold - turns off bold - turns on italic - turns off italics. hope that helped. thanks for the positive words!

I think Apple's current trend of not including a proper manual is a bit stupid, as then it has new users (the machine's target audience) still left in the dark, like yourself. Remember that if you are using a new-ish iMac, then help is just a button press away. Press that shiny little 'help' button read more...
Thanks, but I can't make it any longer. There is an upper limit of 8000 characters! Perhaps if this article is succesful, build a page on my site explaining how to make websites.
