I got the froyo upgrade via kies when it was released. But its version 2.2 and not 2.2.1 as mentioned in your review. Is there any official way to get 2.2.1? I heard it fixes the lags and bugs in 2.2 @aatifsumar Thanks for the article though. Nice blog!

Battery life is quite bad, I agree. In fact, I need to charge it every 12-15 hrs to keep it going. Plus the lags really get annoying sometimes. Where did you get Android 2.2.1? Has Samsung released it for Indian GS users?

Cashless Warranty? You mean their 3 years/1 lakh kms warranty offer? Chevy is also offering some optional Maintenance plan of 45000kms/3yrs for 33000 - is this what you mean by cashless warranty? Nice review. You could have made it a little more detailed though. I have read a lot about the lags that this phone has. Sometimes, it just 'hangs' at a black screen for 5-10 seconds before going to the next screen/application. Have you encountered this while using your phone?
