My brother has a Swift and he gets 8 kmpl without AC in city and 10 without AC in higway. I have a zen and i get around 18 on highway with ac on and off (80% on) in city have to measure properly. But i think there is a wide range of values being reported for swift, and some of my friends have shown read more...

dealers are really like this ... they want targets to get over. .. anyways i took from saboo somajiguda .. am quite happy with them .. though i insisted on the black color only :-) it took 1 week but i got it .. (ZEN)

maruti dealers are themselves quoting 9-10 reported by people , i am sure they will not lie , since all dealers are saying the same thing .. inspite of the fact that i was inititally ready to wait for 6 months too . i am sure they would be fine with me ...

i was going to get in 5 days .... but i cancelled after getting tired of hearing bad reviews ... but i am sticking to maruti.. have taken a BLACK ZEN LXI :-)

dont say others are fool, before validating.. everybody has a self respect. I have bee doing research for the past 3 months and hence i am giving this conclusion. 1. mileage is 9kmpl , and your mileage checking is not right .. its impossible to give 14kmpl. (please dont misguide people) 2. vxi doesnt have tubeless or central locking ... 3. it shakes a lot on bumpy roads. Yes i did like the gear shift though. According to lots of dealers, and customers the mileage is 9kmpl. So lets be fair and true in this atleast, so that other prospective buyers dont get fooled. Please state the correct value and not what the heart says. How can it be so different, there should be some lower limit and some upper limit. read more...

Certainly, when people have voted for its looks, i am sure when one sees it on the roads, it is really really bad, atleast if you go with a great expectation, it will disappoint. Anyways lets see how these 2 companies take its war.. hope VW comes out with FOX soon and that too as swift prices ...
