Born and broughtup in Bombay (now Mumbai) grew up in Churchgate (upto class 3), then moved to Matunga (4th to 6th), then Calcutta (7th & 8th), back to Matunga (9th and SSC), and then New Bombay (11th to my final yr in Engg). Arrived in the US and completed my Masters and have been here ever since. I like talking and chatting about food, politics, cricket, computers, technology, internet, cars, geography, history, sitcoms....well you can say almost anything and everything. Very friendly and with a positive attitude towards life. 1. Eating and trying out different cuisines. Well when I say trying out different cuisines I really mean that. As of 12/10/02 to name a few,I have tried US (country style & bbq), Mexican, Japanese (Sushi & Sashimi), Chinese (Cantonese, Scheuzwan & Hunan), Thai, Malayasian, Peruvian, Cuban, Argentinian (Parilla), Italian, Brazilian, Equadorian and of course Indian (Mahashtrian, Goan, Southern (TN, AP, Karnataka, Kerala), Gujju, Rajasthani (Kutchi), Punjabi, Moghlai and Bengali). Have tried an alligator too!!
2. Cricket (Follow India & Australia) Favourite players: Tends (batting), Waugh (Leadership) and Akram (Bowling). My favourite one day match was the WC'96 game in bangalore between India and Pakistan.
3. Driving & Traveling (mostly scenic drives to different National Parks in the US)
4. Surfing and reading anything and everything. My level of curiosity is very high and am ready to know anything new.
