Hampi has got a certain charm even in its ruins. I wonder what this city would have been like during its hey days. One important landmark is Mustard Ganesha which unlike its name is a huge Ganesh. The main temple of Virupaksha stands majestically in the midst of rolling grantite hills. A striking fe read more...

Trakesht - Much like what your review says, it is indeed difficult to write in words the beautiful relationship shared by the little boy with an alien tongue and a humble family. The stunning visuals of Kuttanad add to the beauty of this movie. There is a very subtle way in which emotions have been read more...

Seemore - I got to watch this movie today. What a wonderful film both in terms of the story and the captivating visuals of Kuttanad. The convenience of using plastic money is camouflaged by the pathetic services that consumers have to put up with. All those teeny tiny words on the application forms just prevent consumers from having any decent rights.

Your views are very interesting. I wish to state that if a person goes to an English medium school, it does not mean that he belongs to the Forward community. There somehow seems to be such a presumption. In urban India every one, even a rickshaw puller puts his children in an English school.

Thanks for reviewing this book and bringing out it's highlights. In fact, Americans seem to respect Yoga much more than us. Reason being that they understand the beneficial effect of Yoga. Indians are yet to plunge into the benfits of Yoga. Hopefully books like this will awaken some of us. Best read more...

Agree with your choice on Illayaraaja's best songs. But I have'nt heard the song from Auto Raja. Do you know of any web site where I could get to hear the song? Any time, any day, any age, Illayaraja's songs can be rated as some of the most melodious.

What I understand of Distance Education in India is that it suits folks who are working. For them such courses are an additional qualification. But for freshers I think Nisha's experience may not be a stray one. Many of them might be facing the same issue.

Rightly said - this is one place where you get good 'Chaat', ranked second to the Sowcarpet shops. If you happen to eat bhel or any other Chaat stuff in the beaches of Chennai - what you will end up eating is the south Indian version of chaats. Seating is a major issue here especially on week-ends, read more...
