You can't withdraw ur money after 3 yrs in long term policies without any charges. Check ur policy term first and premium paying term before investing. Even in LIC surrender charges are high after 3 yrs in long term policy. If u need short term growth then u hv to invest in mutual funds, not in any read more...

Life long is a whole life insurance policy, not a short term investment plan. U should have read the offer documents carefully before investing in this policy.

You are rightly said all credebility goes to the company's representative. I also fooled by LIC's Market Plus Plan by one of his agent, Invest Rs.10000/- for 3 yrs and u will get 16Lac after 20 yrs guranteed.
