Hi, have been using Shine for close to 3 years now....Have it's own merits n de-merits. But never faced any back problem or anything like that due to sitting posture...i find it comfortable.and that will depend on the rider's height,weight..etc.... i guess this is the shine 'the vibrating machine' from the stable of HMSI in its new avtaar with 5 gears and new plastic. Probably would be little better `coz of that extra gear. what you have written abt mudguard hitting number plate is correct. this happens to all shines. basically a design flaw. even the dealer`s test bike is with this flaw. so no point bothering abt the same. can`t be rectified. ur observation that the engine gets hot even in a 15km ride is true....it happens more when u ride in heavy city traffic i mean when u have to change gears frequently, and use the clutch more....if u ride for 10km or so in the above condition and reach home u can hear the engine making noise so much read more...
