These type of service stories we hear often these days, particularly from dealers located in major cities. May be they are over burdened or just do not want to take risk..... I am an owner of Santro... Santro is the only car in its class to provide maximim seating and leg space... IN wag R U can not accmmodate 3 person on the rear seat.

Ur prob appears to have solved (or compromised ?) Ur silent for some time.. the better option seems to me is get the engine replaced by the company and take the vehicle to Maruti True Value dealer and sell... just read ur comments. fine.. I have purchased Santro -XL -Erlx in July,06. till date I have no prob. Only complaint is lack of enough pick up with AC on and 5 passengers. Yes as somebody told U are likely to get good discounts in the months of ov and Dec. That is there with all automobile dealers. It is because of year end depreciation and book value adjustements.. As per survey conducted by Auto Car India Wag R gives little more mileage than santro on highways. but it is very very negligible. right now I am getting 18 KMPL (without AC) on highways.
