I got that the book is about IIT students, and I got that you did not like it, so your review is useful that way. But I'm afraid I was too dense to get the rest of what you said. I think you're right on the mark, atleast with the people on your list that I recognize. Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, especially, are my pet peeves. I would love to love Preity Zinta, but I don't think she's a good actress. I know zilch about acting, so it's nice to see I'm not alone in thinking a read more...

I don't know if I'll ever see Malshej Ghats, but reading your review felt like a brief vacation. I shuddered when you described bathing in the freezing water, though :) ! That doesn't sound delicious, but everything else does.

I don't get to see these shows, looking forward to getting a glimple of this on my visit home. That was a good summary of lodging places for somebody already decided on visiting Pondicherry. It would have been nice to see a description of Pondicherry to tempt the undecided ones. I did read this book, and you summed it up well. But you gave away the end (especially Elinor's part, which I don't think is entirely predictable while reading the novel. I see my mom only once a year, and you've given me some great ideas to show my love while I'm there. Thanks! I would only be careful about gifting a pet, I would never make it a surprise. A pet is another child, and not animal-lovers would be ready for the responsibility.

All I use my pressure cooker is for cooking dal in. Your recipes got my mouth watering a good hour and a half before it's lunchtime. I am going to try out your crisp vegetable recipe as soon as I can. Thanks!
