Well, I didnt plan to write a review. I was just expressing my opinion. I think RK's book Malgudi Schooldays was very good. Simple but still good. It might be true that I am comparing him with other contemporary writers like Salman Rushdie, but still there was something about the book I simply read more...

In all respects I agree with you. The best part about this book is that it's immensly gripping, I just couldn't kepp the book down The worst part is that it fails to inspire you. It is a fairy tale whose glory can fade with time. It tries to inspire you, but only ends up passing your time.
