Not true, In fact Cognizant offers best compensation Multiple of what TCS,Wipro and Infosys offer, unless you are not up to the mark.

10 Years of experience? Why you didn't chose to be manager by role? Try to take responsibility and make it more beautiful than just complaining about gender bias. Nobody can ignore that there are less Women in any sector in India. Be it TCS, Infosys, Wipro there are less women than men. They read more...

Yes you are right in my project there is a lateral hire with 6 years of experience but surprisingly his experience is fake and he don't know even ABC of the technology he is hired for.
