I feel 'copied' is a very harsh word. In most of Pancham's songs, he used to take the opening lines of the song and then explore it on his own. This can also be seen in the Sholay number- 'Aaj jab tak hain'. By the way, the Iranian singer was Googoosh. As you said, 'Inspired' is a more apt word. read more...
