A terrific writeup.. and as you summed up, its the way he effortlessly plays highly skillful notes that stands out.. And the way he makes the guitar talk.. ever checked out Yankee Rose? Chinnu, Dont think much of Sach.. Vai & Petrucci are in a different league, in my humble opinion..

Were a unique band -> and i think what set them apart was that Johny Rotten's snarl.. The laugh followed by the 'Iii am an Anti-Christ...' One of my all time fav openings! Keep writing more of these Deaser.. Cheers, Koushik

I liked the way you described each of the songs. And a good choice of bands too. I guess u could think of only 13 becos -- Quite a few of the songs you listed are simply famous hits - not necessarily masterpieces I'd suggest you listen to more numbers from bands like Pink Floyd, Rush, Jethro T read more...

I guess you are one of those guys who's developed an allergy for Plants vocals. Cant blame you. But 'Stairway to heaven' is a masterpiece. One of the best songs ever. Apart from that, got to agree with your list. :-) ~stormbringer~
