I think Jyothika made a total ham of her role.She overacted a lot,totally ruining the climax.In Shobhana's case the madness was subtle,and slowly built up in the climax.Vidya,though not as competent as Shobhana did a much more credible job.

I wasn't going to watch it since I had already seen the original Malayalam movie.But your review convinced me to give it a try.As for the Tamil version, I have only seen the song in which Jyothika is dancing.She lacked subtlety and tended to overplay.Shobhana's success was in underplaying the role w read more...

hi No problem with the content.But man, do pay some attention to grammar and spelling.It is atrocious.With tools like spell checker there is no excuse for bad spelling..Abbreviations are well and good.But don't pepper the whole review with them

Great review as ever candy.Meryl makes a great Miranda.I didn't think she could carry it off.But she looks the part.From yr review I get the idea that she plays it beautifully too.Definitely gonna watch it.

I read all the reviews abt the movie and you were the only one who caught on to the fact that Dor is surprisingly similar to Perumazhakkalam.It is very likely that Kukunoor got inspiration from Perumazhakkalam since the movie got Meera Jasmine the National award as best actress.
