That is how they spell it in urduu too. It is a sufi term, meaning that you reach one with God. You are totally anilihated as a separate being to beocme one with God.

I reted this movie for $2.00 and even then I felt cheated. I guess I missed a particular point of the plot? What was the purpose of Akshay's involvement with the three air hostesses? I must have dozed off or something, because I never did follow the movie after John left for America. Rose

For a recent Hindi movie this is one of the best I saw. it is loosely based on an old american move/play 'etremities' who gets revenge on her rapist. I was impressed with the storyline and the characters and the fact that the husband stood by and supported his wife. The ending was poetic justice. read more...

I know it ihad nothing new in the plot, but I thought that Emran did a good job playing a joking sarcastic hero. I liked the personality, and I am not a fan of him at all. Just my two cents. Rose

I saw Tere Naam first and I am not a fan of Salman Khan at all, and still thought it iwas good, but the original Tamil version is much much better, better acted, everything. I enjoyed this movie, but for god sake, I can't understand how. It is dumb, but I laughed a lot and that is what counts. Being American, it is hard for me to judge Tamil movies, and I have seen many, but this one holds a speical place in my heart even if it is dumb. Rose

This movie is complete bakvaas, it was so boring, but beyond that all the characters maybe with the exception of Tabu's, are just completely non-deserving of sympathy. I think that Bollywood is now portraying people like in Hollywood, self-centerd and shallow through and through. And I am a sucker read more...

I rented the movie for some reason and I fell asleep less than half way through. What crap. BW does embarrass itself alot, and I feel embarrassed for watching it sometimes.... Rose

But that doesn't address the point of this movie, no matter how it is presented. With fthe female to male ratio becoming so unbalanced, what will happen when it is time for marriage? but if you read the first review you find out that it is plagarized and is not from Anu Malik at all, but from Amir Jamal 's album itself which he plagarized from another singer who is Arabic. So, what do you think now? Paagal, hai na?

All this stuff about plagarism. I was just telling my friend today how much I respect Anu Malik for using the Arabic singer and how nice the song was and that he wrote such good music.. Now I feel dirty... Thanks for the heads up even if I saw it too late. Rose
