Please note that all those verifications are needed and are part of the process of issuing passport. If anything is missing, then finally your passport will get blocked - is that better than waiting for ~3 hours? Normal folks do not have to wait that long, it depends on the rush also. Neeraj, Lucky you, unfortunately, I have not received the items till date. Messed up website using a royally messed up courier company :).
Note that the original post is more than 2.5 years old :). Things might have changed in between. Something fishy. Shamin80 has copy-pasted this same message in at least 10 other user's review. An employee of Taxsmile?

This review is absurd. I and several of my friends/colleagues have been shopping from them for the last 2 years and never had an issue. One of friend’s who got a book with missing pages was offered another copy of the book and he got to keep both of them. On the technicalities front: companies like read more...
