Most aptly described as someone who is happy go lucky. Obstinate and overtly opinionated at times, but prefers to leave any extra baggage behind. Not the best when it comes to organized living; you are likely to find me in a dishevelled and a clumsy state more often than not. Would consider myself friendly, if you are one. I tend to speak my mind out but mostly limit that behavior to people who know me better than that. I believe in being happy and experiencing life to the best of my ability, but sometimes tend to derive a strange kind of pleasure in sorrow. A rebel and a conformist both rolled into one mind, I can be as unpredictible as the weather and yet won't offer too many surprises to those who know me well.
These sum me up rather : Friends, Family , Work, Academics, Photography, Having a good time, Linux, Books, Movies, Music, India, Konkani, Writing, Manipal, Beer, Dogs, Free Software for all, Freedom of Expression, A good wardrobe, Late nights, Robert Pirsig, Debates, Relationships, Partying, Multiple Personalities, Opinion, Travel, Puzzles, Cooking etc.
Turn offs:Extreme superficiality, Stupidity, Sarcasm, Inconsistency in views, etc.
Mouthshut to me, like to most other people was just an outlet to vent out my thoughts, to rave and rant about things I felt about, to speak my mind hoping someone would listen. It still continues to serve the original purpose but considering the 'people factor', it is definitely turning out to be more than just a site that posts reviews.
My rating criteria: Quality of the review, Imagination, Innovativeness, Information, Humor & Adherance to the category. I am not too fond of reviews that have a lot of information but no soul, those reviews that have google written all over. Ofcourse, people in my TC enjoy an unfair advantage.
If that didn't scare you, do drop me a line and maybe we can get started on something.
I am a normal person :-). Not a part of this sham anymore
Yes, I do have a few. Motivation for writing on MS was primarily due to my love for reading, which to be honest has been on the decline. I also have a fascination for photography and keep investing a lot of my time and energy into it. Seeing new places, understanding different cultures and capturing moments has always been a strong motivation for me to travel though I wish I could do more of it.
People have always sustained my interest and in my opinion it is possibly the best investment that one can ever make. Music and movies have been long term companions and probably would continue to remain so. .
Some of my other intrerests are probably too obscure, or just wilt away with time, making me a jack of all sorts but an authority on a few.
