The gear refusing to slot into 5`th or reverse is not unique to the Wagon R alone. The Alto has the same problem. So too the Estilo. Not sure about the Swift, Eeco etc.

Maruti cars are good. However of late the dealers have become arrogant. They have a take it or leave it mentality. The service also is not as efficient as before.

A test drive car will always be rashly handled.I have driven a new Estilo and there are times when I feel that the engine is switched especially when waiting at traffic signals. Its that silent. Nothing wrong with the AC either.
