Wow! You certainly have had a horrible experience with Yamaha :-( I just bought the R-15, 2.0 two months ago. Excellent bike, and have had it's 1st service done. Your experience after the 1st year does not encourage me, and i can only hope that things are different now and with the service dealer i read more...

Got the 1st service done at 1000kms :-) Yup! Also got my 3rd fill on the bike. 277kms - 5.35 ltrs. It works out to 51kms/lt. 10th day now and am really enjoying the bike - especially as I got the one irritating and uncomfortable aspect fixed. I went to Karol Bagh and put in some cushioning on the seats. And yes - i AM running it in like it's meant to be - perhaps even better. just the way i am with new vehicles - and that HAS paid dividends in the end. my vehicles need clutch and engine overhauling much much later than anyone else that the service people tell me about.
Found your review useful - managed to get the all new R-15, 2.0. Yes - it's an amazing bike, and even better looking (if you don't mind my saying), than the previous version. Thanks for the review that definitely played a part in my choosing to buy this one.
