at my house, we have two WAPs running. my DI524, and a friend's WRT54G. Though one is enough, we use two to have better network coverage in different parts of house. I personally never had problem in sharing internet connection between upto 9-10 computers on one WLAN.

@arifali good that you think this router is serving your purpose BTW.. mac address based ip config provides you no security at all. Use it to tell which computer is alloted which ip.
