LoganClub, Good review. In fact My review some 10 months back had these points. After driving 11000 Km swith a diesel Logan, I do not regret my decision. Logan has a fantastic road grip and suspension and is the best fit for congested cities wher one needs to drive in low gears and still n Read More...

adyg, sorry to come accross your experience, however, the problem is not very clear - how can the wires be cut...did you give the car to anyone for repairs or driving. I have a diesel (DLX) Logan and I have done more than 11000 Kms. I did not face any problem with the car except some loose Read More...

Manish, First, let me assure you, you made the right choice when compared to Accent and Dzire - Logan is definitely a better car for Indian roads (read craters). My Logan has done more than 11000 Kms and believe me in the initial months, I had the same problem with the gear, that you are h Read More...

Nothing new in your review, that has not already been written in this space. The funny thing that you found is not so funny in Europe and in the modern cars in India - rear light is one - that is the standard, check out the SX4 or the Chevrolet...or any standard car that runs in Western Europe. Hi, I am using a Logan for sometime now (DLX) and have done more than 7000 Kms. It is the best car for the money it is charging, but every new car launch has it's problems. Without trying to dissuade a buyer let me jot down a few, we are here to help each other, isn't it... 1- The air circul Read More...

To add something to your review....most european cars..and now the indian ones - have a single rear light.....just check the new SX4

This car will compete with the current market leader in entry level sedans - Mahindra's Logan. Logan is the best deal on deasel, though the petrol version is not going so strong. However, at around the same price as DZire - Logan gives a more powerful engine, a better designed / spaced interior and Read More...

Satya and Zaib, Here is my take on the advice. for a background - I bought my first Maruti in 1994, changed to Hyundai in 2000 and returning back to Maruti this year with an Estilo (in between I got a sedan for office use). The points in favour of Estilo are: 1 It is a newer Read More...

Hi Carlover, Sorry to dissappoint you, the figures are not correct, from where ever you got them. Coming to the car superiority, in small car segment, Maruti is still the best. Even if you compare Hyundai Zing and I10 (Getz is anyway a washout even by Hyundai confidants) and match aga Read More...

Logan come cheaper than any sedan, per rupee distance travelled is maximum in the sedan class (for Logan Diesel) and has the maximum space among all sedans (Except Merc E and S class). You have price, mielage and space all on this car - high time 'aapni akal lagao.....'

I bought my Logan Diesel sometime back in Thane (Mumbai). The AC works perfectly and I didn't venture to do any engineering with the boot - so I don't need a rope. The Global Gallerie (Dealer) service is quite good, I find them everready, polite and sincere. Once they drove all the way to my office Read More...

Just to add to my comments - I was not clear about your comment of an 'Average Indian'. To my understanding, an average Indian dosen't own a car, the last quarter Gazzette Report of the Central Govt of the Republic of Union of India, also corroborates this. Less than 1% of Indians own a car. I am s Read More...
Buying a car for percieved greatness is one of the foolish decisions commonly made. Three of my friends bought SX4 and Chevrolet Aveo - all are now repenting, after seeing my Logan DLX and it's perfoemance. As I wrote earlier - this is a no nonsense, fact-on-the-table car. John A well written review...the way you have put the negatives is good, yes a petrol car driver will feel intial drag while climbing a slope with a diesel car. Dear Das, I would still suggest that you go for a diesel version - that gives you the most out of a Logan. I recommend the DLX (though as per Hormasji it is overprised)...I think that is the best form of Logan considering the features and price....the October discount is 30K in Mumbai

the spares are the cheapest among the sedans. The spares of Indigo and Logan compete with each other. The serviceas are available in the Mahindra network.
