Well about me.. hmm I m not exactly the kind of person whom u would call a extrovert. But yeah I do like making friends and meeting interesting people. I guess that sort of justifies mine being on mouthshut. Well the column just before this was sort of difficult for me to fill. coz my interest keep on changing with my moods. And since I do have frequent mood swings nothing interests me for too long. Of course sleeping and cricket are an exception. Being a true Indian by heart I just cant leave this beautiful game. Althouh I dont play now, i ve had enough of it; no not at the Ranji or the Zonal levels (not that fortunate or rather not that good) but at the local club and college level. Now I just follow the game on TV and make it a point that I dont miss any of India' s matches. Surfing on net would always be there untill internet is there so I guess that merits a direct entry. Well in my school days I used to read a lot. Then all of a sudden I lost interest and restricted my reading to magazines. Four years of my coolege life all the reading that I did apart from the course texts were basically the India today, Outlook and Week trio. Like a faithfull reader I used to buy the three magazines every single week. Then as I graduated and joined my Marine Engineering training, I again picked up the habit of reading books. So in the one year of training I managed to clean off around 50 books. Not much but according to my standards gr8. Same goes with music. Although I used to listen to music in all genres, I somehow dropped the habit of listening to music all of a sudden. Per haps due to the pressures of engineering (pressures?????). Now although I do love listening to music I m no longer the hard core music buff I used to be. And then Travelling is something that I love to do. Visiting new places has always been a weakness to me. Perhaps thats one of the reaseon I decided to join Merchant Navy. Sleeping, Surfing on Net, cricket, readin to an extent and well music. Last but not the least travelling.

I understand ur emotions but hey this book is a piece of fiction and was never meant to be a documentary on Call centers. Toi me also winning matters. But wat I was pointing out was a scenario as mentioned by Naseer in The straight drive. Hey wait we ve won its ok but we did it so chasing. Do we have it i us to defend a score?? After first match I seriously doubt Indias capability to defend a score. So If India needs to be a consistent team it needs to improve on this aspect too.

Again a good review from u. YEah the India Pakistan series have become more predictable of late. The mother of all series seems to have lost its charm. I think ur article contained over dose of relegious sentiments. The movie might be a gr8 one. The novel surely is gr8. But all said and done it is defenitely a sensitive issue, one bound to have repurcussions through out the world. The novel is a piece of fiction and we should take it as one. Now I read more...

Good one there varun. I think u covered the sereis pretty well without making the review too long. India did well but I think the real test will come when India bats first on any forriegn pitches. It will be interesting to see how Dhoni fares with the moving ball.
