I dont agree with one point of yours. $ Never use CD Rw drive for reading data / music CDs . Instead use a CD ROM device for this. Do you know the current prices of normal PC hardware. All of them have crashed you can get a powerful monster for around 30000 (if you assemble yourself) + Win Xp included. dhavalhirdhav Win 2000, Win Xp and 2k3 are not dos based. They have nothing to do with Dos. All the three OS have a program which emulates Dos. This does not mean that they are dos based.

Where do you people get all this false information First of all win Xp doesn not have 3 D look and speed of copying data between 2 HDD's is around 70 - 80 Mbps (ATA 100, 80 conductor cable with DMA)

If you what you are downloading from trusted sources then you dont have to worry about viruses. N btw how amy of all you people saying that NAV is great have a licensed copy. Use AVG.
